Homeschool Field Trips
Explore our engaging exhibits and interact with thousands of invertebrates! Homeschoolers and families can take a field trip together at Butterfly Pavilion.
What’s Included
- Self-guided exploration of indoor and outdoor exhibits
- Optional 45-minute facilitated class with a Butterfly Pavilion educator
- An exhibit rotation guide to help chaperone groups disperse throughout the facility
Pricing
Students: $6 per student
Facilitated class add-on: +$3 per student
Adults: 1 free adult per 10 students (additional adults pay General Admission)
Class Times
9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Ages
All ages welcome. Activities focus on PreK–8th grade.
Group Size
No minimum required. Must maintain a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio.
To Qualify for Group Rates
- At least one chaperone for every ten children
- Payment for the entire group with one payment (cash or credit card)
- Request confirmed in advance — at least 72 hours’ notice; 2 weeks for classes
